OUR LATEST PROJECTS

  • Organized food distributions in Paktika and Kunar Provinces.

  • We put food on the table of poor widows so that their children do not have to beg or take part in child labor and can attend school for a brighter tomorrow. 

  • We publish quarterly publications on various issues to bring awareness in various areas such as child labor, child abuse,  the importance of education, sanitation, and health-related matters.

  • We offer and provide scholarship opportunities for students from various districts. 

  • We installed 20 water pumps in Wardak to provide clean drinking water.

  • We designed and implemented a homeschooling program in Kunar, Paktika, and Nangahar provinces.

  • We provided vocational training for women where we taught them how to sew so that they can work and become self-reliant.

Zurmat School
HFCC completed a land survey in Spring of 2023 and the construction by Fall of 2023. The school initially had about 400 students, since the construction of the new school the student population has doubled.

Sayed Karam School
Prior to this new school, classes were held in peoples homes, mosques, and in tents. With the help of the local community, HFCC was able to build a school with 7 classrooms and over 400 students.

Recent Accomplishments

Over 500 students have completed Vocational and English courses from March 2022 to March 2025! 

Faryab Tailoring Classes School

Herat Earthquake Aid Distribution

Four large earthquakes measuring Mww 6.3 each and their aftershocks affected Herat Province in western Afghanistan in early October 2023. HFCC assisted families in remote areas that did not the necessary help from other aid organizations. 

HFCC introduced a volleyball team representing Faryab Province in support of campaigns against the use of recreational drugs. HFCC plans to establish a variety of different sport teams in several more provinces in the coming months. 

In January of 2023 HFCC started vocational courses. This is an 18 month program that will train 20 people. 

In December of 2022, HFCC started English and Science classes, as well as general courses depending on the area during the winter break in 6 different provinces

COVID-19 Assistance Paktika

April, 2020.

HFCC is building a school in Zurmat district of Paktia province for 800 students.

The Province of Herat was struck by a 6.3 magnitude earthquake in early October 2023. HFCC provided aid to hundreds of people in two districts
